FAQ

CoinVeer is a simple and fast exchanger that allows you to exchange one kind of cryptocurrency for another. You may opt. not need to register, or you can sign up and benefits of being a regular user benefits. We’ll take an honest commission and quickly process with an exchange for you.
The platform allows to make a quick exchange with only 3 simple steps. Let’s walk through a case where you want to get Ether and you have Bitcoin.
  1. Set up the transaction
  2. To set up the transaction, you can either type in the amount of Ether you want, OR you can type in the amount of Bitcoin you want to pay. In either event, CoinVeer will automatically compute the exchange rate for the transaction. When you are ready you can press the “Exchange” button.

  3. Enter destination and refund addresses
  4. The destination address is the address where you will receive the results of the transaction. Please be sure that that address can receive the coins resulting from the transaction.
The Refund address is used to refund your coins in case of any problems. Say you wanted to exchange 2 BTC but send us 20 BTC which is above our exchange limit. In this case we would send your coins back to your refund address. Again, please be sure that the refund address can receive that currency, for example use the address for a Bitcoin wallet if you are sending Bitcoin.
After you have set the addresses, press the “Start Transaction” button.
Min and Max coin limits are displayed under the “you have” dropdown for your reference, we will not accept any transfers less or more than the limit set.

  5. Send the required funds
  6. The next page will give you instructions on where to send Bitcoin including the deposit address. You can scan the QR code or simply copy the address.
Please be aware that cryptocurrency transactions are generally non-reversible so please be sure that you have put the correct addresses into the fields. Also, the time between when the transaction is sent and when it is confirmed depends on the blockchain and on the traffic and can in some cases take hours to complete.
Once we receive the Bitcoin, we send Ether to the destination you provided. The status bar will show you the progress. Wait until it says, "Completed Successfully".

Let's assume CoinVeer tells you that you will receive 11.0136797 ETH for depositing 1 BTC. All fees (our fee and miner/blockchain fee) are all baked into our pricing so there is no additional fee. That means if we receive -exactly- 1 BTC in 10 minutes then you will get -exactly- 11.0136797 in your ETH wallet. No playing with the numbers, no surprises.
Fees
If you want to own a cryptocurrency, you need to store it somewhere. Different wallets are tailored specifically for different operations with the transactions. There are official wallets, web purses and other applications. For each currency you need to have a separate wallet. The address of the wallet is a unique combination of numbers and letters from 26 to 35 characters. It usually looks something like this: 17bkZPLB4Wn6F347PLZBR34ijhzQDUFZ4ZC.
When you decide which coin you would like to acquire, find a reliable wallet. Each coin has an official one. When you create a wallet, you automatically get an address and a private key. Keep your private key to yourself and don’t show it to anyone.
For security reasons, we do not ask for your private keys and nobody should.
If you want to buy a coin, you need to send it to a specific wallet. Each coin has its own one. The recipient address is your wallet, to which the coin is transferred after the exchange.
Each transaction is registered in the blockchain and has its own unique identification code, called a Hash (also referred as “TX”). This unique code allows you to verify its validity in the blockchain open ledger.
Blockchain operations are irreversible. If the funds are sent, the transaction cannot be canceled by anyone. Therefore, thoroughly check all the payment details before sending money.
It takes some time to process transactions. Due to high volatility of the currency the time speed is crucial, however the final exchange rate can differ both in positive or negative direction. What we guarantee is the best rate at the very moment of an exchange operation.
There are minimum and maximum limits and the limits for each transaction are shown on the order page. If we receive less than the minimum, your order will be terminated because it is too small even for refunding. If we receive more than the maximum, we will automatically refund your deposit; it will be sent to your refund address. If we receive an amount between min and max limits, then your order will go through, but your received amount will be recalculated when your deposit is confirmed on the blockchain. To avoid any confusion, please send the exact deposit amount and be aware that some wallets don't include the blockchain fee when sending as a result we receive less than the deposit amount.
If we don't receive your deposit in 10 minutes, then your order will expire. Say you are exchanging BTC for XRP. If you didn't already, you should go to your BTC wallet and manually send your BTC deposit to our BTC address on the order.
If you didn't send your deposit, then you should not send it anymore and create new order as we don't guarantee the price after your order expires. If you sent your deposit already, then it is most likely that your wallet didn't send it to the blockchain network and your transaction is in “pending” status in your wallet. Once we receive your deposit, your order status will be updated and your should receive amount will be recalculated based on current rate.
Each order has a unique order id.
Make sure you record your order id. On the order page you can also use track your order button so that you can check on your order anytime you like.
Once you have sent the cryptocurrency, closing the browser tab or navigating elsewhere will not affect the transaction. If you need help, please contact.
